My story

Hi, I’m Duke—your future best buddy and personal cuddle king. Yes, I’m a chonky boy, but I’m working on slimming down (with a little help and encouragement!). I’m all about that cozy life and being near my people. I’m what they call a “people cat”—I’ll follow you around, flop over dramatically to show you my belly, and snuggle up as close as I can get…even if that means draping myself across your neck like a fuzzy scarf at bedtime.I’m super affectionate and will gently nudge your hand if you forget to keep the pets coming. I love being brushed, and I’m really into my cardboard scratchers—my foster mom keeps them all over and I use them like a champ.Loud noises aren’t really my thing, so I’ll tuck away somewhere quiet if the environment gets a bit too rowdy. But if it’s calm, cozy, and full of love? I’m your guy.There are dogs here, and I’m okay with them—as long as they’re chill and not trying to turn me into a playmate. I get along with other cats too and even enjoy watching the foster kittens do their thing.I’m sweet, soft, and just looking for a calm, loving home where I can be your favorite snuggle buddy.
