Lamar

My story

Lamar is a 10-year old senior boy looking for a soft spot to call home. He likes treats and already knows a few tricks. He`s a total heart melter, loves to give hugs and lean in for pets. Lamar walks well on leash and loves being close to his people. He goes to doggy playgroups and would love to meet any potential canine siblings. Come meet Lamar at KCPP Main Campus!Lamar was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and this is what they had to say, `We went to Swope Park for a nice 3-mile walk, and Lamar was so excited to hit the trail—he’d make an awesome hiking buddy! He loved climbing on rocks along the way and happily accepted head pats as we walked. Lamar is such a sweet boy and enjoyed taking little breaks for water, belly rubs, and attention. After our walk, he was thrilled to hop in the car for the ride back. At my apartment, he munched on chicken nuggets and soaked up all the love. He’s a total cuddlebug who loves being as close as possible and really enjoyed holding onto a toy while relaxing. Lamar is as sweet as can be—an ideal mix of adventure buddy and snuggle companion!`
