She’s a shy little dog who takes her time warming up, but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into a loving and loyal companion.Maddy prefers calm environments and gentle people who will let her build trust at her own pace. She enjoys soft affection, peaceful routines, and cozy, quiet spaces where she can feel safe. Though reserved at first, once she connects with someone, her bond is deep and sincere.Maddy does struggle with alopecia, a condition that has affected her coat. While she may not have the typical Pomeranian fluff, her beauty is still undeniable—and her sweet, soulful personality shines far brighter than any fur ever could. She’s looking for a family that understands her needs and will love her just the way she is.If you’re someone who values quiet companionship and has the patience to let a shy dog come into her own, Maddy may be the perfect little match for your heart and home.**Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
