Maisie has the eyes of a dog who’s seen a lot, but still holds out hope for something better. At 6 years old, this beautiful girl was found as a stray—tired, alone, and looking for kindness. She’s now safe, but what she really needs is a forever home where she can finally exhale and just be loved.Maisie is heartworm positive, and being incredibly brave through it all. She’s quiet, soulful, and deeply affectionate with people she trusts. Her favorite thing? Simply being near you. She doesn’t need much—just a warm spot to lay her head and a human who sees her not as “damaged,” but as the loyal, loving companion she truly is.She’s a bit particular about her doggy friends and may feel happiest as your one and only.
