Meet Bea – A True Survivor with a Heart of Gold Bea is a 5-year-old, 57-pound blue nose pittie with the sweetest soul and a spirit that shines. She may have had a rough start—found tied to a pole in the pouring rain in Newark, battling pyometra and an ear hematoma—but her resilience is nothing short of inspiring. Even during her time at the vet, Bea was a perfect angel, patiently allowing the staff to clean her up and care for her. Now that her past is behind her, Bea is blossoming into the lovable couch potato she was always meant to be. She’s house-trained, gentle, and incredibly affectionate—nothing makes her happier than being close to her people. Bea loves belly rubs, rolling in the grass, and giving kisses to anyone lucky enough to receive them. Friendly with kids, Bea is as easygoing as they come. She’s a quiet, calming presence who’s simply looking for a soft place to land and someone to love her like she deserves.
