My story

How this pet arrived: Canelo was brought in by his previous owner on June 24, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Canelo! This handsome guy is on the lookout for a new place to relax! Canelo has spent most of his life outdoors, so indoor living is all new to him - he's not yet house trained and could use some help with his leash skills. That being said, he is a smart boy who learns quickly and knows basic commands, like "sit"! He enjoys long walks, playing with toys and water, being pet, and the occasional cuddle sesh! His previous owner described him as a relaxed guy who smiles a lot. Canelo has lived with one other dog, but prefers not to share space or supplies too closely, so he may prefer to be the only pet. We're still learning more about him each day - but if you're ready to help Canelo start his next chapter, bring a leash, collar, and lots of love!
