My story

Meet Mickey – Your New Best Friend! Hi, I’m Mickey! I’m about 9 months old and full of life, love, and purrs. My journey started a little rough — I was abandoned and had to fend for myself, finding food wherever I could. But everything changed when my foster found me and realized I wasn’t feral — just a sweet boy in need of a second chance and a safe, loving home. Even though I had to learn to survive, I’ve kept my gentle spirit. I still eat quickly (old habits die hard!), but I’m learning that I don’t have to rush anymore. These days, I spend my time playing with my toys, exploring every inch of my surroundings, and watching the world go by from the windows. I'm full of energy and always on the move — unless I’m curled up in your lap, soaking up all the pets and love I can get. I purr the moment you touch me and don’t mind being picked up at all! I take great care of myself — my fur is always clean and shiny, and I’m a litter box pro. I’m currently living with a senior dog (we rub noses!) and an older cat who prefers the quiet life, but I’d really love a feline friend who’s ready to play. What I need most is a forever home with kind people who will love me, care for me, and help me keep blossoming.
