Meet Peaches – Your New Pocket-Sized Bestie! Looking for a little love bug to brighten your days? Meet Peaches, a 5-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of sweetness and a tail that never stops wagging! At just 7 pounds, she’s the perfect pint-sized pup…easy to cuddle, easy to carry, and impossible not to fall in love with! We found Peaches roaming the streets of Staten Island, scared and anxious. After a lively chase, one of our volunteers was able to capture her. She was very thin with terrible allergies and appeared to be neglected. In spite of posting to every site, no one has come forward, so we believe this tiny baby was intentionally dumped. Peaches is a total people-pup who adores human attention. She likes other calm dogs and she is getting used to cats. Her dream home? One with another friendly dog to keep her company, or a human who works from home, because she’s working through some separation anxiety and loves to be near her pack. This playful girl is always ready for a game of fetch, and loves to do zoomies! She has the kind of cheerful, happy energy that will make you smile on even your toughest days.
