My story

Looking for a happy-go-lucky companion who’s always ready for an adventure? Gabriel might be your guy! This handsome pup is about 4 years old and currently living in a foster home, where he’s showing off his goofy, toy-loving, treat-motivated personality.Gabriel loves walks and car rides—he’ll happily jump in the back seat and stay put. He enjoys chasing balls and playing with toys, and he’s learning household routines quickly. He gets along well with other dogs, handles baths like a pro, and is respectful during mealtimes.Gabriel does get excited and can pull on leash or jump up to say hello, but we bet he will learn to be more polite with a little bit of encouragement from his loving new family. He’s affectionate, fun, and ready for a home where he can keep learning and thriving. Ask us how to meet Gabriel!~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org. Interested in fostering a dog in need? You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
