My story

Hi, I'm Lenny! I'm a 7-lb Poodle. I'm 14 years old, but with my puppy-ish good looks, my foster tells me I've found the fountain of youth. What I really want to find, though, is a forever family who will love me forever!  General Behavior: This energetic little guy is a real lover and wants to be with his person at all times. He will greet you with an enthusiastic little dance and will offer you affection, cuddles, and kisses all day. His favorite thing is to snuggle up on his person's lap. He will definitely be a loyal companion. Likes & Dislikes: Forget toys: all Lenny wants is human attention (all the human attention). He will return your love with gentle kisses.  He is also fond of snacks. Training: Lenny is a good boy! He lets you know when he needs to go out and is making good progress with house training if let out regularly. He is a good passenger on car rides and sleeps in the people bed at night, too.  Medical: This healthy dude just needs his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Other Animals: Lenny has lived with other dogs but would be fine as your one and only cuddle-bug. Children: Lenny has yet to be observed around children. Home: Lenny would do best in a single family home, as he sometimes has plenty to "say" if he hears strange noises or sees people or dogs walking by.  Grooming: As a miniature poodle, this gorgeous guy will need regular brushing along with professional grooming about every 6-8 weeks.  Overall:  This loveable little poodle will make a loyal companion for some lucky family.
