My story

Sammie is a young cat who came to us under difficult circumstances—he was hit by a car near the rescue, and thanks to a kind woman who rushed him to safety, he received the urgent care he needed. Now fully recovered physically, Sammie is still adjusting emotionally and learning to trust in his new environment.He remains cautious around people and is taking his time to open up, so we believe he would do best in a barn home or one with restricted outdoor access, where he can enjoy a safe, low-pressure space to continue his journey at his own pace.We’re still getting to know more about Sammie’s personality, but what we do know is that he’s resilient, observant, and deserving of a second chance.June 26, 2025, 12:04 pm
