My story

Meet Milo, a caramel colored ball of love and energy! Milo is 9 months old, but luckily, he’s already got some training skills down! Milo knows sit, down, and is working on leash skills and other routines while at the shelter. Milo is the perfect easy going companion and at just 38 lbs, he is the perfect medium size. He is smart, and can’t wait to learn more!Milo is tolerant of other dogs, and likes to play “gentle and dainty” with his friends. He would probably do best in a home without small dogs. Milo also is keeping his kennel clean, which indicates he is likely housetrained. Milo spent the day with a volunteer outside the shelter! Here`s what they have to say about him:`I took Milo to Swope Park! We walked for a bit, Milo has tons of energy and is super curious! He loves to explore and sniff around, and is a great dog for people that live an active lifestyle. Milo is the sweetest, most well-tempered dog!! I didn’t let him approach other dogs, but he did exhibit excitement and curiosity when he saw other dogs and humans, and was not reactive whatsoever!`Milo has also spent some time with kids and has been his happy, enthusiastic self around him! He would love to have some playmates in the form of children or teenagers, as long as they understand that puppies can be very energetic.
