My story

Name: Rem Nickname: Remalicous Reason for being at BCHS: My owners fell ill and were no longer able to take care of my brother and I. Say hello to Rem – soft-eyed, sweet-hearted, and always ready for a cuddle. Rem is a 7½-year-old mastiff mix who came to us with her twin brother, Lucid, after their family sadly fell ill and could no longer care for them. Through it all, Rem has remained calm, gentle, and quietly affectionate—she’s the kind of dog who leans in close and lets her eyes do the talking. She’s housebroken, walks nicely on leash, and is wonderfully social—great with other dogs, kids, and even cats (she previously lived with them and knows the deal). Rem is laid-back but loving, and she brings a peaceful energy that somehow fills the room. She has the sweetest eyes, bat-like ears, and a smile that could soften even the toughest day. Rem is ready to find her person (or people!) and settle into the comfy life she so deserves. Bonus points if you’ve got a cozy bed, a gentle hand, and maybe a brother reunion now and then.
