My story

Name: Lucid Nickname: Luci goosi Reason for being at BCHS: My owners fell ill and could no longer take care of my sister and I. Meet Lucid – a gentle giant with a salt-and-pepper booty and a heart full of sunshine. Lucid is a 7½-year-old mastiff mix who came to us alongside his twin sister, Rem, after their beloved humans fell ill and could no longer care for them. Despite the change, Lucid has remained full of spunk, love, and steady tail wags. This big, beautiful boy is housebroken, walks politely on leash, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, kids, and even cats—he previously lived with feline friends and knows how to mind his manners. He’s the kind of dog who just fits in—whether it’s curling up for a cozy nap or trotting by your side on a walk around the block. And let’s not forget: Lucid’s best feature might just be his distinguished salt-and-pepper booty, which wiggles with joy every time he sees a friend (which is… pretty much everyone). Lucid is ready to bring warmth, calm, and a little gray-tailed glam to a lucky forever home. Come meet him—your couch has been waiting.
