My story

Cookie is a petite shepherd mix with a beautiful tricolor coat and the sweetest, most soulful eyes you’ve ever seen. At first glance, she may seem timid — and that’s because the world is still a big, uncertain place for her. But beneath her nervous exterior is a cautiously curious heart, quietly hoping to find someone patient enough to help her bloom. This little girl is very small for a shepherd mix, but she carries the gentle spirit of her breed. She’s not ready to jump into cuddles or wagging tail greetings just yet — but she’s watching, learning, and trying. Every small sign of trust she offers is a milestone worth celebrating. Cookie needs a calm, quiet environment where she can decompress at her own pace. She thrives best in a home without a lot of chaos — one where she can feel safe enough to slowly build confidence and come out of her shell. With time, kindness, and consistency, she has the potential to be the kind of loyal companion only a dog like her can be! ❤️
