I’m goofy and bouncy and playful and so much fun! Sure, it takes me just a little extra time to warm up and to get comfortable with you, but once we bond, you’ll find me to be such a nice friend. I’ve just had a lot of change in my short life, that’s all, so I need time to take things in and to learn to relax. I just need a real home with people to love and care for who will do the same for me. I hope that sounds good to you, too!I’m a handsome, 8-month-old, 38-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix, with gentle, soulful brown eyes, beautiful fur, and a silly, delightful personality. I’m already housebroken, and I have experience with crate training, too. I originally came to Wayside as a wee pup, with my whole, happy life ahead of me just waiting to be lived. I was adopted, but things didn’t end up working out for me there. My owner was no longer able to give me the time and attention that I needed. I was welcomed back to Wayside with open arms, but still, the big shelter feels stressful and lonely to me. It has just been a confusing time, and I’m trying my best to get used to my new routine. Hopefully I won’t be here for long. I’m ready to settle back into life in a real home. Like most Cattle Dogs, I’m super smart and I love to learn, so I hope you will train me throughout my life. I’m currently enrolled in Wayside’s Waifs with Wisdom class, where I am learning manners and basic life skills that will help me adjust more quickly to my new home.
