I’m a smart, curious, playful fella who loves to have a good time. If you like to stay active, and if you are looking for a friend who wants to be an involved and important member of the family, then I think I’ll be the perfect match for you! I hope so. I’m tired of being homeless and I need someone to love.I’m an adorable, 10-month-old, 34-pound Pointer mix, with soft puppy fur, the brightest smile, and a charming, delightful personality. I’m already crate trained and mostly housebroken, too, as long as I get outside on a regular schedule. Please stay patient with me as I get settled in, though, as an adjustment period, especially for a young dog like me, is normal. I was transferred to Wayside from a rural shelter in Oklahoma. I’ve never had a real home before. I’m an active pup who likes to stay busy, so growing up in a shelter environment has felt lonely and stressful. I was thrilled to be chosen to go to a foster home! Foster Mom is busy teaching me all about life as part of a busy family, and I love every single moment of it! Now I’m ready for you. Everything about living in a home is new and strange to me. It was especially hard for me to relax those first few days, as I paced the floor in the evenings, unsure of how to act. I tried hard not to cause any trouble.
