My story

Pet Location: Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I’d love to show off all of the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4:00pm on our open adoption days to meet me!I’m Enrolled In A Training Program: Yes-I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. I’m a fun, active girl who’s working hard on all my good manners, and I’m so excited to find a forever home where I can keep learning and growing.I keep my kennel nice and clean here at the shelter, and I’m making great progress on my housetraining. I’m also enrolled in a training program where I’ve been learning all kinds of cool things like “sit,” “place,” “crate,” “touch,” and how to walk on a loose leash! I’m super smart and love training time, especially when treats are involved!I can be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’m sweet, affectionate, and full of love. I really enjoy being around people, and I get super bouncy and excited when I see my friends; it’s hard to contain all this happiness!My favorite things? Stuffies, toys, doggy playmates, and sniffing around outside to explore the world. I’d do best in an active home that can keep up with my energy and keep me mentally and physically engaged. It’s also recommended I go home with another playful dog—having a buddy helps bring out my best, most confident self.If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, smart girl who’s ready to be your new adventure partner, I just might be the pup for you.
