I’m a darling, 5-month-old, 18-pound (and still growing!) sweetheart, with soft puppy fur, the cutest expressive face, a bright smile, and a happy, goofy, delightful personality. I’m still working on housetraining, but I’m making lots of progress, and I understand that it’s time to go to the bathroom when I get outside. If you keep me on a regular schedule, it will help set me up for success. I also know how to use a pee pad, if I can’t get out in time. Growing up in a shelter, it’s hard to establish a routine, but I’m smart and I learn quickly. I was transferred to Wayside from a rural shelter in Mississippi that didn’t have space for me. It’s been a confusing and stressful time for me, but I love Kansas City, and I’m happy to be here. The best part is that I met Foster Mom! She took me home to teach me manners and to show me what it’s like to live in a home as part of a family. She makes me feel safe and loved and so special. Life is good.I don’t like staying in a crate, but I do well when I’m confined to the kitchen area with cartoons playing in the background when no one is home. Foster Mom watches me on a camera, and I usually just chill during the day. At night I sleep quietly and peacefully on the bed with her.
