Rusty

My story

Rusty is a sweet four-year-old who spent his early life in a commercial breeding facility, and he's only now discovering what the world is really like. Rusty was one of the 21 dogs ARF recently rescued with the help of BISSELL Pet Foundation and National Mill Dog Rescue. Everything is new to him and a little overwhelming, but he’s curious and quietly taking it all in. He’s not the type to bounce into your lap right away, but give him a little time, and you'll see glimpses of the affectionate dog he's meant to be. He loves being held, and his face lights up when other dogs are around; their presence gives him confidence and joy. Rusty needs a calm, patient home where he can adjust at his own pace. Once he knows he’s safe, he’ll become a wonderful companion. Rusty was rescued with support from The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare.
