Murphy

My story

Hi! My name is Murphy, but my foster family also calls me "Murph," "Smurfy," "Murph the Smurf," and "Murphy Drop It". They usually call me that last one when I get carried away playing and want to carry around their Crocs (I can't help it--those things are pure comfort). But, as soon as they give me a squeaky toy, I'm good to go. It's a fair trade, and I do like a fair trade. I'm about 8 months old, and still LOVE to play like a puppy. Squeaky toys are my favorite, but I also really like crinkly toys, and stuffed toys, and balls, and ropes, and--oh, sorry, I get excited about toys! Sometimes, I get zoomies and am a little much for my little human foster sister, but once I get my energy out, we're besties. When I'm not playing, I'm ready for belly rubs and some snuggle time on the couch. My foster family says I do a really good job in my kennel. I love to sleep in it while they're at work. I'm also working hard on going potty outside and have only had two accidents the whole week! I have a lot of fun playing with the other two dogs in my foster home, too--I like to play in goofy puppy style, but I (mostly) listen when the old dogs tell me it's time to settle down. I'm learning a lot, and I really want to learn if treats or toys are involved. I really want a family (maybe even with other dogs!) to play with me and then soak up my puppy cuddles when we're done. Oh, and a house filled with wall-to-wall toys! I do love those toys.
