My story

Stonewall is a long legged, big eared charmer with the heart of a pup and the soul of a snuggler. This young senior Chihuahua may have a few years under his belt, but he’s still got plenty of pep in his step. He’s always up for a walk, happily wags his tail for treats, and is quick to befriend other dogs. He absolutely loves pets, attention, and being a part of whatever’s going on around him. While he can get a little nervous in new situations, he handles it well and bounces back with a little reassurance. Sweet, spirited, and full of love, Stonewall is the kind of companion who will brighten your days and warm your lap. Stonewall is just waiting for his person to find him! Here's some notes from his foster: Stonewall’s boundless energy makes me question if this senior mutt is really 8 months instead of 8 years. He is super curious and loves exploring his surroundings. Mealtime is his favorite time of the day because he is extremely food motivated. While he’s still learning where to use the bathroom, I know that potty training will be a breeze as long as there’s treats involved. He gets along well with my chihuahua, and tolerates handling well. Stonewall enjoys walks, dog puzzles, and snuggling up on the couch. He isn’t bothered by the construction noise coming from right outside my window, and hasn’t made one peep! So far he doesn't seem like a barker. Stairs are not a problem!
