My story

Meet Ryder, a lovable 10-pound Yorkie mix with a heart as big as his ears! He's a gentle little companion who absolutely adores kids and thrives in a calm, loving home where he can snuggle, play, and feel safe. He’s got a big personality in a small package—full of affection, tail wags, and quirky charm. He loves playing a quick game of fetch with a tennis ball larger than his head. He is house trained and loves walks of all types. He can be a bit nervous around big dogs and prefers the company of other small or mellow pups. He loves being outside so he’d love a yard. During carrides, he likes to look out a window so he knows what is going on and can be a part of the action. One thing to know about Ryder is that he was a Covid dog so he never spent much time away from his family as a puppy so he gets very anxious when anyone leaves the house. He would like to be in a household with multiple humans so he doesn’t feel super alone or he's always up to tag along with you on your adventures!. He can also be a little anxious in new environments, so a patient home that can give him time to settle in will be his perfect match. Whether he's curled up next to you on the couch or happily trailing behind the kids in the backyard, Ryder will be your loyal sidekick through and through. ##2443437##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ryder, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
