My story

Rocky is a handsome and sweet domestic long hair cat, estimated to be 3 years old, who was brought to EASEL after being found injured by a Good Samaritan. He is now feeling much better and hopes he will find his forever home soon. Rocky, like many cats who have spent an extended time outdoors, has tested positive for FIV; however, this should not dissuade you from making him part of your family. Cats with FIV--who receive the annual checkups every cat should--are expected to live healthy lives and have a normal lifespan. FIV cannot be transmitted to dogs or humans and only rarely to other cats. If you would like to meet Rocky, please apply today either online or in person. He is waiting to meet you!
