My story

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION BELLA is currently in foster care in West Hartford, CT. If interested there is an application on our website https:/www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org/apply/ BELLA is approx 6 months old and 15 lbs as of Aug 2025, she will probably be in the 20-25lb range when fully grown. She and her sister Daisy Mae were just strays and found their way to our rescue. Bella is a really sweet puppy, she is very smart and is picking up on her house training very quickly, She is a typical puppy, loves to run and play in the yard with her buddies and toys and loves attention, We did a dna test on her sister and she was a mixture of Australian shepherd and 7 other breeds, we have no idea if Bella has the same breed mixes, however she does shed and would not be good for anyone with allergies. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE IN West Hartford CT OUR RESCUE POLICY - It is our rescue policy for all our dogs that we require a home with experienced dog owners only and no children under that age of 8 years. The total adoption fee of $500 ( and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip.
