My story

Tootsie Pebble A17595945 lb. spayed female, approx 4 years old -Older gal who walks nicely on a leash-She was happy to wander and explore outside-She is food motivated and loves treats! She sits patiently and takes them very nicely.-She’s not currently interested in playing with toys-Likes to snuggle in close for pets-Affectionate and gives lots of kisses-Can be shy to start, but once she’s comfortable she will flip over for belly rubs! Started wiggling on her back on the blankets in excitement.-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
