My story

Estimated DOB: 01/11/2025 Meet Pipper ❤️ Pipper is an adorable mix of spicy and sweet. She came to ACR after a family left her behind when moving out of their rental home. The landlord found the babies and dropped them off at animal control in a nearby community. It was unknown how long they were away from mom before coming to the rescue but we know they had been at animal control for approximately 12hrs without being bottle fed and they were only days old. Animal control didn’t have supplies on hand and did their best reaching out to find a rescue that had an available bottle feeder. Finding bottle feeders can be one of the hardest things in rescue because most rescues don’t have very many neonate fosters. It’s also a very difficult and exhausting job in rescue. Kittens need to be fed every two hours around the clock. Sadly Pipper's siblings passed away but she thrived. She became a spicy singlet. When Pipper turned 8 weeks and 2lbs she was able to be FELV/FIV tested. That allowed her to become a free roamer with the other foster cats. She quickly adjusted to life with other cats and learned her kitty manners after she was able to play with the other cats. Pipper is a playful girl who loves laser pointers. She also enjoys playing with kiddos and they’re great at providing entertainment for her. Pipper’s favorite thing to do in the evening is binge watch Netflix with her humans or watch ESPN with her foster dad.
