My story

Meet Jake & Poppy – A Bonded Senior Pair Jake and Poppy are a devoted duo of approximately 15 years young who have spent their entire lives together — and we’re committed to keeping them that way. These two came to us after the passing of their beloved owner, and now they’re looking for a new forever home to live out their golden years in comfort and love. Jake is our big, handsome grey boy who came in weighing 22 pounds and is now down to a healthier 19 (go, Jake!). He’s still working on shedding a few more pounds, but he's well on his way. His sister Poppy is petite and dainty, providing the perfect contrast to her brother’s larger frame. Both Jake and Poppy are incredibly friendly, affectionate, and people-loving. They’re in good health, and despite their age, still have plenty of love and companionship to offer. They’d thrive in a calm, cozy home where Jake can continue his weight-loss journey with gentle encouragement, and both can enjoy the comfort of soft beds, sunny windows, and loving humans.
