The Folly

My story

Hi! I am one of 11 puppies recently rescued from a shelter in Georgia, now calling Brooklyn my temp home with my brother Pete's Tavern.  The Folly is small but mighty! Don't let his size fool you, The Folly may have been a little more timid upon first arriving in NYC but he has completely come out of his shell and gets more adventurous and braver by the day. He goes by Ezzy in his foster home, named affectionately by his six year old human foster sister, and also shares his space with his real brother Pete's Tavern and another human foster sibling so loves being around dogs and kids. He is nit afriad to make his needs known, always asking for hugs and kisses first thing in  the morning or after some crate time, which took him no time at all to adjust to and master. While still indoor only, he was quick to catch onto his wee pads and has about 75-80% accuracy.   The Folly loves mealtime! As soon as he senses prep time, he is eager to eat! He also loves trying new foods and we have yet to find one that he doesn't approve of. So far he's given his stamp of approval to apple, banana, strawberries, blueberries, pumpkin and green beans! While he loves trying his fruits and veggies, he also loves to unwind with a bully or rawhide stick too and since still so little, it keeps him busy for a good amount of time! The Folly has become quite the playful pup, taking advantage of his smaller size when playing with his bigger brother Pete's Tavern, by crawling under furniture or in tight spots and then taunting with a game of tag. He is very smart and knows exactly how to turn the charm on! He loves giving and recieving love and is just as happy being carried in his foster mom's arms as he is running laps up and down the hallway while waiting for his ok to get outside.     ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
