The Folly

My story

Hi! I am one of 11 puppies recently rescued from a shelter in Georgia, now calling Brooklyn my temp home with my brother Pete's Tavern.  The Folly is small but mighty! He appears more timid at first glance but is extremely playful once he and his brother Pete's Tavern get going. He's also very smart, teasing his slightly bigger brother by crawling into small spaces when playing with each other. He caught onto the pee pads pretty quickly and although still having accidents elsewhere, making it at least 50% of the time on the pads. He loves to be around people and is living in a foster home with two kids that can't keep their hands off of him and loving every minute. He is super affectionate and getting braver by the day. He loves and treats so definitely should make training easier once old enough since not one to turn down a treat! He's still so little so lots of cat naps throughout the day with about an hour or so of playtime with his brother in between. He's still indoor only so hasn't had much experience outside although had his first subway ride the other day, a little nervous at first but nothing some cuddles from his foster mom couldn't help soothe. He is getting more and more vocal and playful by the day and although smaller than his brother, he keeps up with him and loves to initiate playtime.  ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2443348##
