My story

This sweet pup is full of life and love. He’s still settling in, but already showing so much personality in just a few days! He gets big zoomies—and then crashes into the coziest naps. He’s great with other dogs and absolutely adores people.  We haven’t tested him with cats yet. House training is going well—he’s about halfway there, which is pretty impressive for only a few days in a new space. He does shed a little, but after his first bath, it’s been super minimal. He’s playful, toy-obsessed, and really loves being around people. While he’s usually pretty quiet, he can be a bit of a whiner or barker when he’s craving affection. He’s not super food motivated, but he makes up for it with his love of play and snuggles. This little guy is going to make an amazing companion for someone ready to keep building on his great start. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2442128##
