My story

Hi, I’m Tom — a toy-loving, people-shadowing, lambchop-squeaking bundle of joy. I might only weigh 10 pounds, but I’ve got enough love in me to fill a whole apartment (or house; I'm flexible). I’m 1–2 years old, curly, black-and-white, and basically the canine version of a happy hour—fun, loyal, and the life of the party. I’m what they call a Velcro pup, which means I like to be wherever you are. Couch? I’m there. Kitchen? Let’s cook. Bathroom? Well… I’ll give you privacy… maybe. I’m great with other dogs, and I’ve been friendly with every kid I’ve met on walks. I think I’d love a home with a playmate or some little humans to keep me company. I’m super food motivated (I take snacks very seriously), which makes training me a breeze! I’m already working hard on house training and learning to be more comfortable in the crate. My mom says I'm doing amazing and have made so much progress in such a short time. I don’t know any fancy tricks yet—unless you count making people fall in love with me. Oh, and I did test positive for heartworm. I’m on medication and doing great, but I’m supposed to keep things low-key for now. Easier said than done when there are toys to squeak and laps to curl up in. So, if you’re looking for a forever friend who will follow you to the ends of the earth (or at least to the fridge), let’s meet. I’ll bring Lambchop. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2442078##
