Meet Maddox! This 1.6-year-old, 47-lb (guessing Aussie poodle mix) is a scruffy sweetheart with a heart full of love and a smile that lights up the room. Found as a stray in NM during a thunderstorm, Maddox is now safe and dry—hoping the next chapter of his life is filled with love, companionship, and belly rubs. Maddox is the full package: well-socialized, potty trained, and a total goofball who gets along great with other dogs. He enjoys going on walks—especially with a doggy friend by his side—and walks beautifully on leash. He’s food motivated, eager to please, and already knows basic obedience. A staff favorite for good reason, Maddox is affectionate, friendly, and ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick. Whether he’s playing with pals, showing off his goofy side, or soaking up cuddles, he brings joy wherever he goes. If you're looking for a fun, friendly, and all-around good dog, Maddox is your guy!
