My story

Meet Kurtis!Kurtis is a big, goofy boy looking for a new place to call home!He is young and active and would do well living in an active lifestyle. Kurtis can be dog reactive on walks, but may benefit from slow introduction to other dogs in order to make dog friends.No cats or small children for this guy as he is still learning boundaries.He sadly can't be an apartment dog, as he is too dog reactive in close quarters with other dogs. This guy has a big bark!He is still working on basic manners and will need to have continued, consistent training. Kurtis is eager to please and is food motivated, which will help a lot! He loves people and he gets so excited, he can't help but show it by jumping all over you. He also has the tendency to mouth when he is overstimulated and over threshold, so patience in establishing boundaries with positive reinforcement training is a must for this guy.He is also eager to get to the destination on walks and with his strength, will pull you along to get there faster - a harness is needed to keep him paced.This guy loves brain games, he eats with a puzzle dish and enjoys a Kong or other treat game through his day for enrichment.***Thank you for your interest in adopting!
