My story

Do you want a spunky, bouncy, outgoing pup? Belle here is as sweet as they come. Young and active, Belle tends to be quite jumpy in attempts to give her favorite people hugs. She is in need of some training to teach her general manners but once she is given that guidance, this big bundle of love will be someone's closest companion. Belle came from a home with several other dogs, and was under-socialized, so she started off a little nervous with new people. She has already blossomed into quite the goofball with staff here at ARL, and would love to have a home to call her own. She could live with other dogs if they had a successful dog meeting here at the shelter, although she is probably most suited for dogs who can tolerate her boisterous personality, large size, and overall higher energy. We are not sure of her history with cats, but given her size and breed, we do not think she would be polite, and would likely chase them anytime she got the chance.
