My story

Meet Gizmo, a sweet, handsome, dark brown, striped Tabby with Bengal spots on his belly!! This boy is everything you'd want in a kitten!! He's playful, curious, inquisitive and highly-social. Check out his Adoption Video and you'll fall in L-O-V-E!!! Gizmo first showed up at a kind couple's screen door in Valley Village, CA (in the San Fernando Valley). They have two, indoor cats and he would come to their door crying. But each time the humans would approach him, he'd run and hide. But by the third evening, he was ready to surrender. They immediately took him to the vet where he received and clean bill of health and was combo-tested for FIV/FeLV (= negative). That's when we were asked to step in and get him further vetted and he went to one of our fabulous foster/adopters. You'll find his rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #35 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties". There you'll also find photo and video updates on ALL our rescued cats and kittens. Gizmo's adoption will include his: * Neuter surgery, * De-worming, * Flea and mite treatment, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * and Microchipping! ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making this cutie a permanent member of your household and will be keeping him safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair!
