My story

Bruno – The Life of the Paw-ty Bruno might be missing a leg, but he makes up for it with extra personality! This bouncy tripod was found as a stray after being adopted from the Humane Society, but he hasn’t let his past slow him down one bit. He’s adjusted beautifully and gets around with ease—and with enthusiasm! He’s the class clown of the rescue crew, always ready to play, especially with the younger pups. Bruno loves to run, bounce, and wrestle with his dog friends, and he’s got a soft spot for kids who match his playful energy. He’s affectionate with people, always up for a cuddle, and enjoys being part of the action. Bruno is potty trained, crate trained, and rides calmly in the car. He can use stairs, though limiting them would help protect his remaining front leg from extra wear. He does have mild separation anxiety and may bark when first kenneled or when overly excited, but it settles down quickly. Bruno is ready to bring laughs, love, and a whole lot of fun to a forever home that sees just how special he is—not in spite of his missing leg, but because of the strength and spirit it represents.
