My story

Hi I’m Dora and if you’re looking for a fun new friend then I am the one for you. A little bit about me. I am a super cute dachshund mix, a young girl at just around 9-10 months old, and I weigh 26 pounds. My foster family describes me full of personality, friendly and a joy to be around.Currently I live with two kids (ages 9 and 12) and two other larger dogs. I love meeting new people and dogs of all kinds. I would do well with another doggy friend in the home and have lived with both playful dogs and older dogs but I could also do fine as an only dog. I enjoy walks and love my dog bones and treats. I am working on my house training skills and catching on quickly. I don’t mind spending time in my crate from time to time and am eager to learn new things. If you are ready to be my happily ever after I can’t wait to join your family.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
