My story

This little pup was running along a very busy roadway following his mother and was literally moments from being killed as the rescuer scooped her up and along with her little brother. Although efforts were made, the mother was not rescued (but we are still watching for her).We are unsure what breed we are looking at, but the mother was a small (20 pounder) with a scruffy coat. Tessa looks like she will stay small, possibly growing to 20-25 pounds. Her coat will be medium length we believe as she is far fuzzier than her brother, but it's hard to tell at this point exactly how long it will get. She has a very black face that is highlighted with brown. She is a bit shier than her brother, but she has really come out of her shell the last few days. Tessa has had her first puppy shot, been wormed and is on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. (She had many ticks when found).
