My story

Hi, I’m Zara – a 3-year-old copper and white Siberian Husky with the most dazzling blue eyes you’ve ever seen! I’m spayed, crate trained, and ready to find a family who will love me as much as I love them (which is a lot!). Life started a little bumpy for me. I was found wandering the streets near an apartment complex, escaping over and over because I just wanted to go. I almost got hurt a few times, and thankfully some kind humans stepped in. My former owners decided it was best to find me a new home where I could be safe, loved, and appreciated for who I am. I’m playful, super vocal (like a true Husky), and oh-so-loving. I adore kids and get along great with other dogs. I even met some cats, and while I’m curious and like to sniff, I’m not aggressive at all. I just want to understand everything and everyone around me. I’m working hard on my leash manners, house training, and learning how not to bolt out the door in excitement. I know “sit” already, and I'm learning even more because I’m very food motivated (treats = happiness). I do get a little bouncy when I meet people, especially the tiny humans—I just love them so much! With a little more practice, I’ll have that under control too. I’m medium to high energy, which means I’ll happily go on walks, romp around the yard, or play with doggie friends. But once the fun is done? I’m all about the belly rubs and cuddles. I’ll even talk to you with my adorable Chewbacca-like Husky voice if I think you're not paying me enough attention. I’m pretty adaptable—I’d do great with another playful pup, or as your one-and-only if you’re ready to keep up with my energy and give me all the love I deserve. If you’re looking for a loyal, silly, loving companion who will fill your home with joy (and a little bit of sass), then I might just be your girl. Let’s start our next adventure together.
