My story

Carlos is a handsome and energetic puppy looking for his forever home! Transferred to us at the end of June with his sisters, Candy and Olivia, Carlos is ready to join a family who can keep up with his playful spirit and love for life. He was transferred to us by another rescue organization. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent and fun-loving pup, Carlos might just be the one for you. With his affectionate personality and endless energy, he’s sure to bring joy and excitement into your home. What to Expect When Adopting Carlos: * Mischief & Puppy Antics: Puppies are cute, but they can also be a handful! Carlos is in that stage where he’s learning everything about the world, which means you might find him chewing on things he shouldn't, exploring areas he shouldn’t, or getting into some puppy mischief. * Training Time: Carlos is highly intelligent and eager to please, which makes him a great candidate for training. He’ll need structure and patience. Be prepared for regular training sessions to teach him basic commands and housebreaking. While training is rewarding, it also requires time and consistency. * Time & Commitment: Like all puppies, Carlos will need a lot of attention, supervision and exercise. He’ll need daily playtime, walks and mental challenges to keep him stimulated and out of trouble. Be ready to invest the time and energy required to help him grow into a well-behaved, balanced adult dog. * Socialization: Carlos will benefit from early socialization with other dogs, people and new environments. It’s important to expose him to a variety of experiences so he grows up confident and well-adjusted. Once bonded with you, he’ll be your loyal and best friend for life. His playful nature will make every day an adventure and he’ll be right by your side through it all. If you enjoy outdoor activities, he will be your perfect partner. Your best friend is waiting. Is your heart ready? The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs 6 months and older if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
