My story

    Mandible is barely a year old, weighs 27 pounds, and is just an all-around lovely, easygoing girl with a heart full of love. She has a shiny, soft, sleek black coat and the sweetest spirit. She looks like a mini-black lab.  While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly—especially if there's another friendly dog nearby to show her the ropes. She’s incredibly dog-savvy and fits right in with any pack. Whether she’s playing gently with a puppy or respectfully giving space to a grouchy senior, Mandible just knows how to make friends. She’s been fostered alongside Pete Townsend, and the two of them have a great bond—if you’re looking for a sweet pair, they’re a dream team! Mandible is 95% house-trained (she’ll let you know when she needs to go!), has excellent manners, and doesn’t need a crate—she prefers to sleep near her people. She’s not destructive and is polite in the house. While she may be a little vocal when left alone at first, she settles in beautifully once she feels secure, so she’s best suited to a home (not an apartment) with a yard and a playful canine buddy. She’s smart, loving, and incredibly endearing—and she’s ready to bring her big heart into a forever home.
