My story

This adorable pup is Kermit! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy along with his sister, Elsie, on 6/19. Sadly, no one has come reclaim these siblings so they're both hoping for new, loving homes. Both pups are shy initially, but warm up quickly and then they LOVE to play! They're working on their leash walking skills and also the command 'sit'. Puppies are super cute, but they're also a lot of work. If you have the time, patience, and energy to commit to a puppy please come meet Kermit (and Elsie)! Kermit is approximately 8 months old, and weighs 35 lbs. He will most likely be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Kermit is waiting patiently in run 58; his ID # is 11072. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
