My story

Lets post our new " Medical" pup Tommy.... Tommy is a 4 month old male Mini Goldendoodle Hypoallergenic Will be around 10 - 12 pounds at full growth Tommy was released from a puppy mill and told us - he is very thin and doesn't eat well.... Thin didn't even cover what we saw when he came in. He was BONES... Our foster fed him high calorie meals around the clock. He has gained a significant amount of weight. Some might even call him chunky now ( we won't tell Tommy that ) Tommy does have Megaesophagus, he will see our vet again next week for a check up. Tommy is a happy dog, he is very social, super affectionate and playful. Megaesophagus cannot be cured, but it can be managed with smaller, frequent meals. Tommy eats like a champ, than he regurgitates the food up and eats its again. We have tried blending his food ( helps alittle ) feeding him in an upright position, used softer and harder foods, he still does the same thing. We are looking for a family that has some experience with Megaesophagus or a family that understands the needs of a dog with this condition and can provide him with the best possible care and life Tommy deserves a chance... Once u meet him, you will agree with that statement. He is a great pup Adoption fee is $250 due to his medical needs Fostered in Stony Point NY *** Send an Email to Onepawatatimerescue@gmail.com and request an application

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tommy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
