My story

Meet Max, a young soul radiating gentleness. His curiosity is infectious, sparking joy in everyone he meets. Max loves cuddles, his quiet demeanor making him the perfect companion for tranquil moments. Despite his youth, he exhibits a maturity beyond his years. He has very wise eyes as he gazes at you. However, Max can be insecure and wary, yearning for a consistent, loving environment. He weighs 16 pounds and has been trained to walk on a leash, always staying close by, and his finder thinks he is probably house trained. We haven`t seen him interact with children or dogs yet but he may patiently ignore his shelter neighbors` barking or maybe growl at a particular dog. If you have a dog, you`ll need to bring it to meet him to be sure they get along. Max is the epitome of a loyal friend, patiently waiting for a forever home where he can grow in confidence and love. His gentle nature and endearing curiosity make him an ideal pet, ready to fill a home with warmth and affection. (tw 6/28/2025)
