My story

Approximate Age: 5 years old Approximate Weight: 50lbs Meet Willow ● A sweet, social, and affectionate pup looking for her forever family. ● Dog, kid, and family friendly – Willow has never met a stranger ● Great with dogs of all sizes – has lived peacefully with pups as small as 10 lbs ● Very smart and eager to please ● Great house manners and crate trained – needs to be crated when unattended due to anxiety (she’ll eat everything!) ● Energetic but laid back – once she gets her energy out, she’s a relaxed companion ● No cats, bunnies, or chickens – high prey drive ● Allergy alert: seasonal and chicken (food) allergies; thrives on a seafood-based diet ● Would love a yard or active household to help her stay happy and balanced ● The only thing aggressive about Willow is her aggressive friendliness Willow is ready to bring love, loyalty, and joy to a home that understands her needs. ********************************************************************* Visit our website for an application to adopt. https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-application What breed am I? Mixed mutt! ODHS does not breed label (unless there’s official paperwork), as studies show it is nearly impossible to tell the exact breed of each dog based off of their appearance. More "sought out breeds may have a higher adoption donation) Adoption donations are to be made via cash, or credit/debit card. There is a $5 fee to run cards. We do not accept checks for adoption fees. Please remember to bring a martingale collar and leash (non-retractable) with you the day of the adoption. We typically have adoption events on Wednesdays 5-7pm, Fridays 6-8pm, and 11 to 3pm. Our adoption center is located at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Suite 101, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. It's important that you keep an eye on your emails for any changes or updates during the adoption process. Old Dominion Humane Society is a volunteer based organization. We are run completely by volunteers, who also have full time jobs, so we appreciate your patience. Currently, the average timeframe for a response to your application is 1 week.
