Status: Looking for a patient, loving forever home with a confident friendly dog to help Sixpence learn confidence After spending 111 days in the shelter, Sixpence is finally getting a taste of home life, and he is learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and seen.This sweet 6-month-old pup is incredibly gentle and tenderhearted. He is still very shy and timid, but every day in foster care brings small victories: a tail wag, a slow approach for a pet, or a quiet snuggle in bed. His favorite thing is curling up next to you, safe and warm, as he slowly learns to trust the world around him.Sixpence will need a patient adopter who understands that love takes time, someone who will celebrate the little milestones and let him go at his own pace. He also would do best with a confident, calm dog in the home who can help show him the ropes and model what it looks like to feel secure and happy.This isn’t just an adoption. It’s a chance to truly change a life.
