Jexi

My story

Jexi is a 4 yr-old 50 pound Alaskan Husky that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 6/28. She was very vocal about wanting out of her kennel as it appears she maybe housetrained. She stayed close looking up at me with those alluring eyes of hers. She was very patient when I brushed her. Actually, she seemed to really enjoy it. She will need a tall secure fence. She will also need frequent brushings. She would need to be in a home, not an apartment. She would enjoy a yard to stretch her legs in but can’t tolerate the Texas heat. She needs to be an inside dog mostly. She’s happy, sociable, calm, gentle, and very well behaved. At one point, she put her paw on my lap. That was very endearing. She has a semi-strong pull on the leash. She was not interested in meeting other dogs. And she wants to go home with you to be your loyal, devoted companion.
