My story

Meet Jackie!Jackie is a 1 year-old approximately 20 pound male Chihuahua mix, who looking for a calm environment where he can chill and snuggle up with his person. He does need time and patience to warm up to people, but once he does he will be your best friend and become your Velcro dog. He does well with older children as he doesn`t like the quick movements and activity of younger children. Jackie gets along well with adult dogs and cats so long as they respect his space. He is not a fan of puppies. He loves going on walks, but he is also just as happy to hang out on the couch. He is also a wonderful passenger on car rides and tends to just fall asleep.Jackie is potty trained, but might have the occasional accident when he is in a new environment, until he gets the routine down. Jackie has been neutered and is current with all his vaccines.Jackie`s ideal adopter is someone that will understand that he might want to spend most of his time as a lap dog and that he will take some time and patience to overcome his insecurities. His perfect forever home would be one that is on the calmer side, with no children or any children should be older.
