My story

Meet Tikal – A Sweet Survivor Ready for His Forever Home Tikal is a gentle and affectionate boy who survived a hit-and-run accident that sadly led to the amputation of one of his front legs. Despite this, he has shown incredible resilience and spirit. He was rescued by our wonderful partners at SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, where he received the medical care, shelter, and love he needed to heal. Now, Tikal is ready for the next chapter of his life. He has a chance to travel to New York in July, and we are looking for a loving adopter or foster-to-adopt home where he can continue to thrive. Tikal is very friendly and loves nothing more than being by your side. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, making him a great fit for almost any home environment. He is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is currently learning potty training—something he’s picking up quickly thanks to his intelligence and eagerness to please. He’s fully vetted and ready to go: -Neutered -Vaccinated -Microchipped -4DX tested (heartworm negative -On flea/tick and heartworm prevention -Dewormed Tikal may have three legs, but his heart is full and ready to love.
