My story

Her mom is moving and can't take her. She is good with other male dogs, respectable children. She is housebroken in her home. She is interested in a family with bulldog experience. This breed CAN NOT be left outdoors due to the the special care required with their "pushed in" faces, and unusual structure. They can overheat very quickly. Bulldogs can come with some health issues as they get older. Pet Insurance is a must for this breed. More will be known about me soon. Ruby the adorable, bandit-eyed English Bulldog is the most affectionate and lovable sofa buddy. Very low maintenance, she is fully crate trained and housebroken. She doesn’t exhibit typical English Bulldog breathing symptoms and surprisingly doesn’t snore! She would love nothing more than to lay in your lap and have her belly rubbed. She loves all people and although she has a dog housemate now with no issues, she really prefers her humans first. She loves all the attention so she would thrive in a home where she is the only dog and doesn’t have to share. Ruby is content throughout the day with people around but would probably have anxiety if left home alone for long periods of time. A work from home, SAH parent or retired situation would be perfect for Ruby. She is not at all aggressive, but she will bark when the door knocks and act as security check. She isn’t an active dog and doesn’t really like walks but she does still get the zoomies here and there. She is perfectly content hanging out at home. She loves sleeping on the sofa and cool floors but she also likes to take a break inside her kennel as she pleases throughout the day as long as her human is nearby. She loves to roll on her back in the yard and get a nice scratch going. Ruby spends a good amount of her time napping but give her a few toys and a deer antler to chew on and she will happily indulge. Ruby does have her own security blanket that she likes to suck on a few times a day and it’s the most precious thing ever. She is great at bedtime, sleeping in her kennel or in the bed next to you is even better! She will make the best companion to someone very lucky. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Ruby, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Ruby into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).
